Pros

• An excellent display with high brightness: a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2340 resolution, measuring around 1294 nits in auto mode in GSMArena's testing, very usable outdoors.
• A durable build and strong water resistance: a Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back with a plastic frame, and IP68 resistance (immersible up to 1.5m for 30 minutes), an upgrade over its predecessor.
• A triple camera system with optical stabilization: a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 12MP front camera, with 4K video at 30fps, and the review praised the main camera's day and night performance. The battery is 5000mAh with 45W charging.

Cons

• The chipset drew clear criticism: the Exynos 1480 is not a new chip but dates back to early 2024 and was previously used in the Galaxy A55, M56, and F56, and the review described its performance as a bit sluggish even within its price bracket, outpaced by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, with a feeling of slowdowns and occasional stutter.
• The phone is nearly identical to its predecessor: the review noted the A37 hasn't changed much from the A36, the most obvious shift being the move from a Snapdragon to an Exynos chip plus a few new colors.
