Infinix Note 60 5G: a mid-range phone with a 6.78" AMOLED 144Hz display and high brightness, a 50MP OIS camera, Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, and a large battery with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Explore full specs and price.

What Are the Pros and Cons of the Infinix Note 60?

Pros

  • An excellent display with very high brightness: a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 700-nit (typical) and 4500-nit (peak) brightness, and 1208 x 2644 resolution at 429 ppi density, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
  • A durable metal design: a glass front with an aluminum frame and aluminum back, MIL-STD-810H compliant, at just 7.5mm thick, plus an RGB notification light on the back.
  • A main camera with optical stabilization: a 50MP main camera with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS, plus an 8MP ultrawide, with 4K video at 30fps.
  • A battery with wireless charging that is rare in this class: a 6500mAh battery (or 6150 depending on market) with 45W wired, 30W wireless, and bypass charging. Extra perks: JBL-tuned stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio, NFC, FM radio, an infrared port, and heart-rate and SpO2 sensors.

Cons

  • Water resistance is basic: an IP64 rating for dust and water splashes only, weaker than many rivals offering IP68/IP69 in the same class.
  • There is no memory card slot: the device has no card slot, and the storage is relatively slow: UFS 2.2. There is also no 3.5mm headphone jack, and the USB port is dated: USB Type-C 2.0.
  • Update support is limited: up to 3 major Android upgrades only. And Infinix's XOS has its limitations, with users in the comments noting it does not officially support the GCam app. The Dimensity 7400 Ultimate is also a mid-range chip rather than the strongest.
