Week 10 was officially MWC 2026 week — but Apple chose to make major announcements at the same time, effectively stealing a significant share of the spotlight.
iPhone 17e is a subtle update over the 16e: A19 chipset, 256GB base storage (no 128GB option), and the new C1X modem. Crucially, it keeps the same $599 starting price despite doubled storage. Ships March 11.
MacBook Neo is Apple's first affordable MacBook and the first Mac to run on an A-series chip — the A18 Pro. It features a 13-inch IPS LCD at 2,408×1,506px, 60Hz, and a 3:2 aspect ratio — a first for MacBook. It packs 8GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage, two USB-C ports (USB3 + USB2), and a 3.5mm jack. Colors: Silver, Blush, Citrus, and Indigo. Starting from $599/€699/£599. Ships March 11.
Apple also launched the iPad Air with M4, and unveiled the new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The M4 in the new iPad Air is 30% faster than the M3 and 230% faster than M1-powered iPad Airs.
Nothing unveiled both devices: the Phone (4a) Pro brings a metal unibody, a larger 6.83-inch 144Hz display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and a larger Glyph screen. Phone (4a) has a semi-transparent back and a Glyph bar. Both share essentially the same cameras. Phone (4a) goes on sale March 13, Pro on March 27. The Pro will be available in the US.
Infinix launched the Pininfarina-designed Note 60 Ultra with a 200MP main camera and 7,000mAh battery. It features a large Gorilla Glass Victus camera island with a dot-matrix display and red LED taillight. It's also the first phone to support two-way satellite calling across multiple countries. Launching first in Malaysia at MYR 3,000 for 12/512GB.
The S26 Ultra review revealed its 5x telephoto uses a conventional lens, not a periscope design — meaning a minimum focusing distance of 52cm, double the S25 Ultra. The trade-off: traditional circular bokeh highlights instead of the rectangular artifacts common in periscope setups.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra confirmed for global launch — the first Ultra model in the Find X series to go global. vivo X300 FE quietly launched as the global sibling of the vivo S50 Pro mini, and vivo X300 Ultra was showcased at MWC.
