Vivo has officially unveiled the Y31d in Egypt — the widely available retail version, following the Vivo Y31 5G which launched exclusively through Vodafone Egypt days earlier. The key difference: the Y31d uses a chipset without 5G support, but packs a larger battery.
The Y31d weighs 219g with dimensions of 166.6×78.4×8.4mm, a fully plastic build, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Additional features include an IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual Nano SIM support.
A 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution (720×1570), 256 PPI, 1250-nit brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The HD+ resolution is the most notable trade-off at this price point in 2026.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 quad-core chip handles everyday tasks — social media, browsing, and video — without 5G support. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
The headline feature is a 7,200 mAh battery with 44W fast charging, capable of delivering up to two days of moderate usage on a single charge. Vivo's BlueVolt technology is designed to maintain battery health for up to six years of use.
The rear camera system pairs a 50MP main sensor with a depth lens, while the front hosts an 8MP selfie camera — suited for everyday photos and video calls. Supported modes include Night, Portrait, and Underwater, with 1080p@30fps video recording.
The Vivo Y31d is priced in Egypt at EGP 9,700 (6GB/128GB), EGP 10,700 (8GB/128GB), and EGP 11,700 (8GB/256GB).
In the box: pre-applied screen protector, 44W charger, clear case, USB-C cable, and SIM ejector pin. Colors: Festive Red and Glow White.
