vivo has been gradually unveiling X300 Ultra details, having previously revealed the main camera and telephoto specs. Product Manager Han Boxiao has now shared an image confirming the ultrawide camera configuration alongside a teaser of a hidden fourth sensor.
The ultrawide camera uses Sony's LYTIA-818 sensor at a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size, rated for CIPA 6.0 stabilization — an upgrade over last year's CIPA 5.0 standard. This improves both video stabilization performance and low-light capability.
An image shared by Boxiao shows a fourth sensor concealed behind an emoji. While no details were revealed, Boxiao confirmed it will enhance the phone's color capabilities — pointing to the previously rumored 5MP multispectral camera.
X300 Ultra is expected to launch in China later this month with a possible simultaneous global debut. It is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and may pack a 7,000mAh battery.
