vivo is gearing up to expand its popular V70 series with the upcoming V70 Lite 4G. This new addition will join the existing V70, V70 FE, and V70 Elite, further diversifying the brand's smartphone offerings.
The V70 Lite 4G has been spotted and certified by the FCC bearing the model number V2604. The FCC documentation shed light on a substantial battery capacity rated at 7,920mAh. It is highly anticipated that vivo will market the device with a typical advertised capacity of 8,000mAh or 8,100mAh.
The V70 Lite 4G will be offered with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It obviously doesn't support 5G as the name implies. It's unclear exactly when it's coming, but the FCC certification indicates it will show up soon.
The FCC has also certified the vivo Y05e with model number V2606. This device has a battery rated at 5,050mAh which will likely be advertised as 5,200mAh typical capacity. The Y05e will have one version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and will run Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
Both devices support GSM, UMTS, LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 5 according to FCC documentation. Neither device supports 5G.
With the addition of V70 Lite 4G and Y05e, vivo's V70 series expands to include the V70, V70 FE, V70 Elite, and V70 Lite 4G. This gives vivo a comprehensive lineup covering budget, mid-range, and upper-mid-range segments.
