Key details about the Tensor G6 have been leaked after a tipster shared a screenshot revealing that the Tensor G6 will adopt a new set of ARM CPU cores compared to the Tensor G5 and feature a 7-core setup.
The screenshot shows that the chipset features an ARM C1 Ultra core clocked at 4.11GHz, four ARM C1 Pro cores at 3.38GHz, and two additional C1 Pro cores running at 2.65GHz, marking a notable upgrade over the Tensor G5 across the board.
The chip is manufactured on TSMC's 2nm process. It also includes Google's Titan M3 security chip and a MediaTek M90 modem.
The MediaTek M90 (MT6986D) modem is notable, as it finally sees Google ditching the Samsung Exynos modems it has been using for years.
The leak suggests the Tensor G6 may use a PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU. Not only is this particular GPU several years old already, but the Tensor G5 also uses the newer DXT-48-1536. So, we may see a downgrade where gaming is concerned.
The bottom of the screenshot shared by Mystic Leaks confirms the internal codenames Google is using for the Pixel 11 series. The standard Pixel 11 is codenamed "Cubs," the Pixel 11 Pro is "Grizzly," and the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL is known as "Kodiak."
Pixel 11 will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display at 1080×2424 with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz PWM, and peak brightness of up to 2,200 nits. RAM configurations of 8GB or 12GB. 50MP main camera. 4,840mAh battery (likely marketed as 5,000mAh). Expected colors: black, green, pink, and purple.
The Pixel 11 is expected to arrive sometime in August 2026 if Google sticks to its usual schedule. We should get a brief glimpse at Google I/O 2026 scheduled for May.
