Tecno introduced the Spark 50 5G in March, followed by the Spark 50 4G earlier this month. A new report now suggests that the company is gearing up to launch the Spark 50 Pro 5G, and has revealed its key specifications and launch timeline.
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro is said to debut in India in May, but will arrive in global markets slightly earlier.
According to the report, the phone will adopt a design inspired by the Pova Curve 2 5G and the Spark 50. Four color options are expected.
Display: 6.78-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Chipset: MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Software: Android 16-based HiOS 16.
Battery: Either a 6,000mAh (single-cell) or 5,600mAh (split-cell) battery. A TUV listing points to a 5,800mAh true rating, which Tecno could advertise as a 6,000mAh cell. 60W fast charging.
Camera: 50MP primary rear sensor with autofocus, along with an 8MP front camera that includes a dedicated flash.
An HD+ display in 2026 is a debatable choice — most budget competitors have moved to FHD+. Tecno likely chose HD+ to keep the price down while offering a large 6,000mAh battery.
Spark 50 Pro is expected at ~$299 in international markets. In India, the Middle East, and Africa — the price will be significantly lower following Tecno's usual tradition.
