The Redmi Watch 6 was initially announced in China in November, and now it's finally starting to make it to other markets after being listed on Xiaomi's global website. The watch comes in two versions — one with NFC and one without.
The watch has a 2.07-inch AMOLED screen with 432x514 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 2,000-nit peak brightness.
It features 2mm symmetrical bezels and an 82% screen-to-body ratio with always-on display and raise-to-wake support.
The Redmi Watch 6 measures 9.9mm thick with a unibody design and aluminum alloy frame. Xiaomi says it is 1.4mm thinner than the previous generation with 20% higher Vickers hardness and a 40% higher yield point. It weighs just 31g without a strap.
A physical button lets you open the control center, shut down or restart, and can be configured to call an emergency contact.
The 550mAh battery is rated for 24 days of light use, 12 days of normal use, and 7 days of intensive use with Always-On Display enabled.
Sensors include heart rate, blood oxygen, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and electronic compass. The watch supports over 150 sports modes with 5ATM water resistance.
The watch supports GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou, and QZSS alongside Bluetooth 5.4. Xiaomi says the watch automatically switches to the antenna with the stronger signal depending on how the watch is being worn. The NFC variant enables contactless payments via Mastercard and Visa.
The watch has been made available in select markets like Thailand at THB 3,190 (approximately Rs 9,400). The NFC variant, selling in Poland, is priced at PLN 499 (approximately Rs 13,200). Colors include Obsidian Black, Silver Gray, and Glacier Blue.
