Back in mid-March, the first details about the upcoming Realme P4R were leaked, and now the brand has finally started teasing the device's launch in India through a dedicated microsite.
Starting official teasing via a dedicated microsite means the launch is imminent — Realme typically launches its phones two to four weeks after official teasing begins.
The "P" in the P series stands for "Pioneer," and this line is "made for the bold and young" according to Realme. Unfortunately, the brand hasn't revealed any details about the P4R so far, aside from the fact that it will have 5G support. The company has, however, outed the P4R's tagline, which is "Power For Real," implying that it will have a big battery.
The "Power For Real" tagline is not random — Realme typically hints at a phone's standout feature in the tagline before launch. "Power" directly points to battery or performance or both. Looking at the P4 series context which focuses on large batteries, P4R will most likely carry a substantial battery similar to its series siblings.
As it stands right now, the P4R microsite brags about the rest of the P4 series which has already reached six members, but undoubtedly more details about the P4R itself will be added in the coming days and weeks before the launch.
Realme's P4 series grew quickly to encompass multiple models targeting different price segments — P4R as a seventh member will complete this ecosystem with a new pivotal feature distinguishing it from the rest of the lineup.
March leaks revealed some colors and memory and storage options for P4R — but core specifications (processor, camera, battery, and display) haven't officially been confirmed yet. The dedicated microsite will progressively add these details as the launch approaches.
