Oppo is set to launch its top-tier Find X9 Ultra later this month in China, and we finally have a live look at it thanks to a live image which appeared on Chinese social media.
The design is similar to previous leaks, but this version has a faux leather back. It's clearly inspired by traditional cameras and features prominent Hasselblad branding.
The substantially large camera island appears to house four cameras, and the markings show it will be able to cover a whopping 14-230mm focal range.
The rumored headliner is a 50MP periscope with 10x optical zoom which Oppo is teasing as a "built-in teleconverter." It will reportedly bring a custom Samsung JNL sensor with an f/3.5 aperture.
Oppo is also expected to bring a 200MP main camera using a Sony LYT-901 sensor, alongside a second 200MP sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide lens.
The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to get a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and a 7,050mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
We also know that the Find X9 Ultra will be making its way outside of China, as evidenced by a Geekbench listing for the global variant.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra clearly signals the company's ambition to compete at the very top of the smartphone photography world — a 14-230mm focal range across four cameras, Hasselblad collaboration, Sony LYT-901 sensor, and a camera-inspired design with faux leather. The April 21 launch will reveal the full picture.
