
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro are set to launch in China on April 21, with the Ultra model also debuting globally on the same day. Ahead of the launch, new details about both phones have surfaced online from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station.
Display: According to Digital Chat Station, the Find X9s Pro will feature a flat 6.32-inch Tianma U9 Pro AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and slim bezels. Oppo has officially confirmed the screen will be an LTPO panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Cameras: Oppo has already confirmed dual 200MP rear cameras, with DCS adding that the periscope telephoto sensor will offer 2.8x optical zoom, equivalent to a 65mm focal length.
A 50MP ultrawide camera rounds out the triple system, with Hasselblad co-branding across the entire camera setup.
Battery and Charging: The device is confirmed to pack a 7,025mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Chipset: The Find X9s Pro is expected to run on the Dimensity 9500 SoC.
Display and Chipset: The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
Cameras: Oppo has confirmed the phone will have two periscope telephoto cameras, one of which has 10x optical zoom and uses a customized Samsung Isocell JNL sensor.
Battery and Software: The battery is expected to be 7,050mAh. The phone will launch running Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
Design: Teasers show the Find X9 Ultra sports a distinctive circular rear camera module, with a dedicated camera button featuring an orange accent on the right frame.
While some companies keep a wide margin between their Ultra and non-Ultra devices, Oppo is going the other way — the Find X9s Pro will have cameras that rival the Ultra model. Oppo exec Zhuo Shijie shared comparison photos showing the X9s Pro holding its own against an "industry standard" Ultra model.
The Find X9 Ultra will launch in China and select global markets on April 21, while the Find X9s Pro is currently expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
