OnePlus has confirmed the Nord 6 will launch in India on April 7, further confirming that the device is essentially a rebranded Turbo 6 unveiled in China in January.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone features a 165Hz display measuring 6.78 inches. It has a 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel with a reported peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
It features a 50MP Sony primary rear camera with OIS and support for 4K video recording at 60fps. It also includes an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 112-degree field of view, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies. For comparison, the Nord 5 offered a similar rear camera setup but came with a higher-resolution 50MP selfie camera.
The phone is confirmed to feature a 9,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. This represents a massive jump from the Nord 5's 6,800mAh — roughly a 32% increase.
The Nord 6 carries an IP69K rating for durability — one of the highest water and dust resistance ratings available on any smartphone.
The Nord 6 arrives in two RAM/storage configurations: 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB, and will be sold via Amazon India. Color options include Black, Mint, and Silver.
The Nord 6 will allegedly be more expensive than its predecessor by INR 3,000 to INR 5,000 (approximately $32 to $53).
The OnePlus Nord 6 arrives with an impressively ambitious spec sheet — a 9,000mAh battery, powerful 8s Gen 4, Sony OIS camera, 165Hz display, and IP69K. The full review will determine whether it lives up to expectations in real-world use.
