
Motorola has officially confirmed the Razr Fold will launch in India on May 13, 2026. The company confirmed the device will be available via Flipkart, Motorola India's official website, and authorized offline retailers.
With this launch, Motorola will enter India's premium book-style foldable smartphone segment, currently led by Samsung and Vivo. Motorola's foldable lineup in India has so far focused exclusively on flip-style Razr clamshell phones.
The Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED outer display with 2520x1080 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits.
The 8.1-inch 2K inner display carries a 2484x2232 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protection on both displays.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset is paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The 6,000mAh battery supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, delivering 12+ hours of use from just 12 minutes of charge.
Triple 50MP rear cameras including a 3x periscope telephoto lens.
The phone comes in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White, available in two configurations — 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB.
Motorola has not revealed the official Indian price yet. Expectations point to approximately ₹1.5 lakh. The phone launched globally at €1,999.
The Razr Fold will be Motorola's answer to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and Vivo X Fold 5.
The device integrates Moto AI for intelligent device assistance, Google Gemini support for advanced AI interactions, and an optimized foldable UI with split-screen multitasking capabilities.
