Motorola has confirmed that the Razr Fold will launch in India on May 13 and will be available on Flipkart, Motorola India's official website, and authorized offline retailers. Razr Fold was unveiled globally at MWC 2026 and marks Motorola's official entry into India's premium book-style foldable segment, currently led by Samsung and Vivo.
The Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED outer display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The inner display is an 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED panel with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The 6.6-inch outer screen is one of the largest cover displays on any book-style foldable, giving the Razr Fold a significant advantage over the Galaxy Z Fold 7 for one-handed use when folded.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, placing it on par with the most powerful Android flagships of 2026. It comes in two configurations — 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
The 6,000mAh battery is one of the largest in any book-style foldable on the market. The device launched globally on April 18, 2026, measuring just 4.7mm thick when unfolded and weighing 243 grams, with support for up to 7 major Android OS upgrades. It comes in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White color options.
Motorola has not officially revealed the Indian pricing for the Razr Fold yet. Based on its global launch price of €1,999, the expected Indian price range is between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹1.8 lakh depending on the variant.
The phone will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and Vivo X Fold 5 in India's book-style foldable market. The Razr Fold's larger outer display and bigger battery give it a genuine competitive edge against established players.
