In a fresh leak, veteran tipster Evan Blass shared alleged official renders of the Moto G87, revealing its design for the first time.
As seen in the leaked renders, the Moto G87 will be available in dark and light shades of blue. In terms of design, it follows the current Motorola design language with a square-shaped camera island positioned in the upper-left corner, housing a 200-megapixel primary camera. The front features a flat display with rounded corners.
The previous 50MP main camera has been replaced with a 200MP sensor. The leak does not confirm the exact sensor model, but it highlights "Ultra-Res" branding along with OIS support. An extra camera module is visible, which will likely include an ultrawide lens.
Color seems to be a major selling point for this release. Motorola is continuing its collaboration with Pantone — Overture Gray and Blue Atoll are shown in the leaked renders.
Additional expected colors: Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile, and Shaded Spruce — six options total.
Leaked firmware points to the MT6835 platform, belonging to the Dimensity 6000-series. G67 uses Dimensity 6300 and G77 uses 6400. Following this pattern, G87 may come with Dimensity 6400 or 6500.
8GB RAM and 256GB storage with a hybrid microSD slot supporting up to 2TB.
Display is likely a 6.67-inch OLED panel once again.
Price around €400 in Europe — a €40-50 increase over the predecessor despite a chipset downgrade.
Note: G87 officially launched later at €399 — as covered in our dedicated launch article.
