If the rumors hold, Apple's first foldable smartphone will arrive later this year alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. A new set of CAD-based renders shared by Sonny Dickson provides yet another look at the alleged design, reinforcing a picture that has grown increasingly detailed through countless prior leaks.
iPhone Fold will adopt a design similar to Google's first-gen Pixel Fold with a wide cover screen. The front panel is rumored at 5.5 inches with a single punch hole for the selfie camera, and a 4:3 aspect ratio — making it more practically usable than the squarish proportions of most current book-style foldables.
The main screen is rumored at 7.8 inches with a minimal but not completely absent crease, and a punch hole cutout in the top left corner. Both selfie cameras are expected to offer 18MP resolution.
The camera plateau houses two sensors and an LED flash — based on latest speculation, both are expected to be 48MP shooters.
A liquid metal hinge paired with a titanium frame is expected to keep weight minimal, while a 5,500mAh battery would make it Apple's largest smartphone battery ever. It could also be Apple's most expensive phone yet with a starting price exceeding $2,000.
