Infinix Note 60 Ultra: Pininfarina Design, 200MP Camera, and Satellite Calling from MWC 2026

In the boldest move in Infinix's history, the company unveiled the Note 60 Ultra at MWC 2026 in Barcelona — co-designed with Pininfarina, the iconic Italian design house celebrating its 95th anniversary this year.

Design: Industry-First Flush Camera Module

The Note 60 Ultra uses an aluminum unibody with the world's first "Uni-Chassis Cam Module" — the entire rear panel is a single sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus with no raised camera bump. The back features a "Floating Taillight" strip that glows on power-up and notifications, plus a hidden dot-matrix display for alerts and system icons.

Colors are supercar-inspired: Torino Black, Monza Red, Amalfi Blue, and Roma Silver.

Display

A 6.78-inch 1.5K Ultra HDR OLED at 144Hz and 4,500 nits peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, with predictive stabilization to reduce motion discomfort during transit viewing.

Processor & Software

The MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate on 4nm features an all-big-core CPU (eight Cortex-A725 cores), with expected AnTuTu scores exceeding 1.6 million. Runs XOS 16 on Android 16 with the redesigned GlowSpace interface. Software support: 3 major OS updates and 5 years of security patches.

Cameras: Samsung-Powered Triple System

The 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor (1/1.4-inch) supports 2x lossless zoom. A 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 periscope telephoto delivers 3.5x optical zoom, 7x in-sensor zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom. A 112° ultrawide completes the trio.

The phone also introduces Ultra HDR Capture for the first time on an Infinix device, powered by the proprietary XDR Image Engine.

Battery: Self-Healing Silicon-Carbon

A 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless, reaching full charge in 48 minutes via cable. The proprietary Battery Self-Healing Technology recovers approximately 1% of battery health every 200 charge cycles for long-term capacity retention.

Two-Way Satellite Communication

The standout practical feature is genuine two-way satellite calling and messaging — actual calls and texts beyond cellular coverage, not just emergency SOS pings. Infinix claims broader multi-country coverage than any currently available satellite phone.

Price & Availability

Listed in Malaysia at MYR 3,000 (~$770) for 12GB/256GB. Global pricing is yet to be announced. The retail package includes a zinc alloy MagCharge Base, Kevlar MagPad, custom Kevlar MagCase, and a Track-Edition SIM ejector pin.
