In this guide, we'll walk you through two ways to check your consumption — through the official WE website on desktop or browser, and through the My WE mobile app on your smartphone.
If you're on a Super package offering 140 GB per month, for instance, you can track exactly how much of those 140 GB you've used, how much is left, and when your monthly renewal is due. This gives you full control over your data and helps you spot if any device is consuming more than its fair share.
Important note: There is no way to check your WE home internet consumption without registering on the website — you must have an account to monitor usage and check your remaining balance. WE also does not provide a dial code for checking your internet package consumption.
Before anything else, you'll need an account on the official WE portal. To be able to check your WE landline internet consumption, you must first create an account on the official WE website. Once the account is set up, you'll easily be able to view your consumed and remaining data.
Registration steps:
Go to the WE electronic services portal at my.te.eg and click Register. Enter your landline phone number in the Service number field — this is the number associated with your ADSL home internet subscription. Set the Service type to Internet, check "I'm not a robot," and click Next.
An SMS will be sent to the mobile phone number registered with your subscription, containing a Registration Code. Enter the code in the designated field, then create a password of your choice and confirm it. Check "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," check "I'm not a robot" again, and finally click Register.
Once your account is created and you're logged in:
Your account page will appear, from which you can check your WE ADSL internet consumption. You'll see the available balance from your previous payment, your account name, and your landline service number. Scrolling down will show your WE internet package consumption, including the number of gigabytes used and those remaining.
When accessing the WE website from a computer or laptop, your account page will clearly display your balance in Egyptian pounds, your internet service landline number, and a button to manage your account. Below that, you'll find your internet package consumption details showing the used and remaining gigabytes.
From the same page, you can click the "Credit Services" tab at the top, then select "Recharge & Pay" to access a page where you can pay your WE internet bill via Visa or using WE recharge cards. Select your landline number, click Next, and follow the steps. You can also change your current internet package from the same page and subscribe to any other available plan.
After creating your account on the WE website, you can use the official mobile app to check your WE home internet consumption directly from your phone. Simply install the My WE app on your Android or iPhone, log in using the same credentials you used on the website, and after logging in you'll be able to see your remaining and consumed gigabytes.
What the app offers:
To see a detailed breakdown of your consumption and package expiry date, tap the "Details" button. The app's home screen also shows your account balance in Egyptian pounds, your landline number, your subscription holder's name, your current plan name, and your renewal date.
There is also a "Manage My Plan" tab which opens a dedicated page showing your renewal date, the number of days remaining until renewal, and the package cost before tax. You'll find a button to renew your package directly from the app — provided your account balance is sufficient — and from the same page you can switch to a different plan by selecting it from the displayed list and tapping "Change."
You can add credit to your account by tapping "Recharge," either using WE recharge cards or any Visa card that supports online payments. After tapping the recharge button, you'll be taken to a new page where you can select "Current Number" to recharge your own landline number, or enter any other number you'd like to top up.
Checking your WE home internet consumption requires no technical expertise and no special tools — just a single account on the WE website or the official mobile app. Through either option, you can see exactly how much data you've used and how much is left, when your renewal is due, pay your bill, or change your package — all from one place. A simple step that spares you any unwanted surprises at the end of the month.
