Honor has started the pre-order activity for the Watch 6 Plus wearable and will launch it next month. Watch 6 Plus will debut as a top-tier wearable in the Honor family with new features and upgraded specifications.
This is the first Honor Watch branded as "Plus" — we don't really know what to expect, but by the looks of it, it might be the spiritual successor to the Watch 5 Ultra that was released in March last year.
Honor has confirmed that the Watch 6 Plus will feature the first-ever 1,000mAh battery capacity in the company's history. This implementation will result in 35 days of battery life — saying goodbye to major battery concerns among consumers.
For comparison: most flagship smartwatches range between 300-500mAh. Garmin is currently the only smartwatch brand with the longest battery life between 36-90 days (Garmin Enduro 3), with an extra 46 days with solar charging. Huawei ranks second with 21 days of battery life.
The design is reminiscent of the Huawei Watch GT 6 with a labeled bezel, a digital crown, and an additional physical button on the side. Available with either a brown leather strap or a sports strap in white, blue, or black. The watch case comes in silver or black with a brushed finish indicating stainless steel construction.
Revealed color options: Flying Blue, Racing Gray, Twilight Brown, Shadow Black, and Shadow Black (Lite Edition).
120+ sports modes. Cardiac Guardian Plus with the industry's exclusive anti-catastrophic risk screening research function. Advanced running exercises. Professional heart health care tools. Dedicated badminton mode.
The design doesn't seem too different from Honor Watch 5 Ultra. However, battery life has been significantly improved thanks to a larger battery. 35 days if true would be one of the longest in the industry and surpassed by only a few Garmin smartwatches.
