Last week, Samsung rolled out an update for the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea, and that update has now spread to more regions, including Europe, the US, and India. The S94xBXXS2AZCL update comes in at a little over 556MB, and its changelog lists device security improvements alongside the April 5, 2026 security patch.
Galaxy S26 Ultra users have been reporting instances of blurry images coming from the phone's 3x telephoto camera, and it was expected that the April update would bring a fix. However, there's no such mention inside the changelog. Users are also reporting no change in the Samsung Camera app's build number, which means the fix may not yet be ready.
The April update for Galaxy S26 is now reaching users across Europe, the US, and India — an important security update, but one that doesn't address the telephoto blur issue affecting some S26 Ultra users. Those impacted will need to wait for a future update.
