After a nearly four-year hiatus, Lenovo is officially reviving its Legion gaming phone line. The last Y70 launched in August 2022 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a 144Hz OLED display in a body under 8mm thick. The 2026 model continues the philosophy of blending high performance with a daily-use form factor, now augmented with a new AI focus.
The Lenovo Legion Y70 2026 sports Lenovo's "Q10 display." According to the teaser, it comes with a peak brightness of 7,000 nits. To put things in perspective, that's only a few thousand nits below the incredibly bright TCL X11L TV at 10,000 nits. That's a TV — this is a phone.
The BOE Q10 display measures 6.82 inches with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo also claims the 2K display is more power-efficient than current 1.5K panels on the market.
The device appeared on Geekbench with model number XT2611, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 16GB RAM, and Android 16, scoring 2,615 in single-core and 6,681 in multi-core tests.

A massive 5,500mm² vapor chamber is crucial for sustained peak performance during intense gaming, preventing overheating and throttling.
Reports suggest Lenovo may introduce a new three-layer cooling setup combining a vapor chamber, liquid metal cooling, and thermal gel.
The handset features a Motorola-inspired design and will be available in two color options.
A triple camera system uses a 50MP Sony LYT-710 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2-in-1 sensor to reduce flicker and excessive light exposure. Front camera is 32MP.

Lenovo has officially scheduled the launch for May 19, 2026, at an event in China dubbed the "All-Scenario New Product Super Night." The event is also expected to feature the Y900 tablet and new Razr foldable phones.
